This section covers information on Hull’s physical Geographical Area including a map of Hull’s wards, and health and wellbeing profiles. Ward and Area Committee Area Profiles are available for each of Hull’s 21 electoral wards and for each of Hull’s seven Area Committee Areas (as well as other defined geographical areas). General Practice and Primary Care Network Profiles have also been produced for each of Hull’s GP practices and Primary Care Networks (groups of GP practices).

Information about the geography of Hull, including a map of Hull’s wards, can be found under Geographical Area.

Geographical Area

Local profiles are available for each ward, Area Committee Area, Locality, local deprivation fifth and Hull overall.

Primary care profiles have also been produced for each GP practice and each of Hull’s five Primary Care Network groups of GP practices.

Please note that the primary care profiles were due to be updated, but the Primary Care Networks are due to change in April 2022. The profiles were completed in February 2000 when there were 33 general practices in Hull.

There are currently 32 general practices in Hull and each practice is within one of five Primary Care Networks. In April 2022, it is anticipated that there will be six Primary Care Networks, with some practices moving into a different Primary Care Network. The general practices in one Primary Care Network are due to remain the same, but there will be changes to the practices within all the other existing Primary Care Networks. As a consequence of the change to the Primary Care Networks, the primary care profiles will be updated after April 2022.
