This section on Adults is broken down into three topic area: Health Factors, Lifestyle Factors and Prevention. Health covers general physical health, and mental health and wellbeing, as well as specific medical conditions and diseases. Lifestyle factors covers lifestyle and behavioural lifestyle risk factors for poor health on such topics as smoking, diet, alcohol, gambling, physical activity, etc. Prevention covers screening including information on the NHS Health Check, and vaccinations.
Other topics relating to adults are found in different sections under Population (for population, ethnicity, life expectancy, etc), Health and Wellbeing Influences (deprivation, employment, financial resilience, etc) and Vulnerable Groups.
