As well as the usual scheduled updates, the following have been updated or added in the last few months.

(1) A new page on Epilepsy has been added;

(2) An new Inclusion Health page has been added which presents the Office for Health Improvement Inclusion Health Data and Intelligence Resource Dashboard.

(3) New life expectancy estimates have been added for 2022-24 including estimates at ward level and by deprivation (using the new Index of Multiple Deprivation 2025) to Life Expectancy and Healthy Life Expectancy. These have now also been adjusted to account for Hull City Council’s new six Area Committee Areas.

(4) The Ward Profiles for each ward and Area Committee Area in Hull have been updated for the new 2024 population estimates, the Index of Multiple Deprivation 2025 and other updated indicators (as well as updated for the new six Area Committee Areas); and

(5) The national dataset for the National Child Measurement Programme for the 2024/25 school year was released on the 4 November. New data in relation to the percentage of Year R (aged 4-5 years) and Year 6 (aged 10-11 years) who are living with excess weight and obesity has been added for the 2024/25 school year to Healthy Weight Among Children and Young People with a more detailed local report added in February.

Upcoming Changes

There have been a number of overarching changes which impact on the data and information displayed within our JSNA. Many pages within our JSNA include information on the Index of Multiple Deprivation 2025 and these will be updated gradually over time. There have also been changes to Hull’s Area Committee Areas which changed from three Areas to six Areas in January 2026. A number of charts and maps may display the three Areas, but the aim is that these will be updated in due course.
