Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2022-2025
The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is a document which describes how and where pharmacies in Hull provide their service and any gaps in how services are provided in the future. This is a statutory requirement of the Health and Wellbeing Board and the assessment must be updated every three years. The latest version is for the period 2022 to 2025.
Hull’s Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment can be found on the Hull City Council website in the Public Health section (opens in a new tab).
The document is used by NHS England to make decisions about whether to allow new pharmacies to open up in Hull and to approve changes to current pharmacies in Hull and should be used by commissioners of services alongside information within our Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA).
